Professional Training-
The B.E.A.R. Center will provide the highest quality and most current research and evidence-based information for training degreed, qualified professionals using the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach to teaching reading, spelling, writing and comprehension strategies for individuals with dyslexia and other language-based related disorders.

Student Instruction-
The B.E.A.R. Center’s educational specialists will provide multisensory structured language education services to individuals with dyslexia or other related learning disabilities without regard for ethnicity, gender, religious, or other affiliation.

This Center demonstrates a desire to be a positive influence in servicing our community’s educational needs, both present and future.

Meet Our Director

​​Kim Haughee, M.A.E., CALT-ICALP, CDT​​

Kim has a Master’s Degree in Education from Ball State University. She is a certified tutor and trainer at the initial and advanced levels of an Orton-Gillingham IMSLEC accredited training program.
